Our Mobile Bio-skills laboratories offer up to eight (8) Surgical stations in a realistic surgical setting, including halogen OR lighting for better surgical viewing, overhead video cameras to create a permanent record of the training procedure, large screen HDTV monitors for instructor presentation, C-arm imaging, and full operational support to ensure your training event runs smoothly.
IDE Study Investigator Training
The recent increase of FDA scrutiny of medical device clinical trial adherence to Good Clinic Practice (GCP) regulations, particularly with concerns related to training investigators in the use of experimental devices prior to human use, has resulted in the FDA issuing many GCP warning letters to medical device manufacturers. To address this growing compliance issue, STI offers training services to support skills training for investigative physicians preparing for initial use of your device in clinical trials. The STI mobile training facility provides a laboratory for your device investigator meeting, and our advanced audiovisual system records a DVD of the investigator training. This provides a level of training documentation for GCP compliance that can be reviewed by the FDA, repeatedly reviewed by the investigator to refresh training, as well as instruct the Sponsor’s clinical research staff on the device use.
